Today I’d like to introduce the music of our friend David Drion and his band, Daphonie Orchestra. Always equipped with his acoustic guitar, David is a multitalented multilingual singer-songwriter who moves among psychedelia, indie and Latin rhythms like cumbia, playing together with keybordist Christophe who also records, arranges and does the drawings shown here. Following Guayaba songs, Daphonie’s latest album, Acoustic folk punk is not dead is a creative compilation of ten tunes that includes a recording with the pleasant voice of wife Cecile. Hoy os quiero presentar la música de nuestro amigo David Drion y su banda, Daphonie Orchestra. Siempre equipado con su guitarra acústica, David es un cantautor multilingüe y polifacético que se mueve entre la psicodelia, el indie y los ritmos latinos como la cumbia, y que toca junto al teclista Christophe, que además graba, arregla y hace los dibujos que se muestran aquí. Siguiendo a Guayaba songs, el último álbum de Daphonie, Acoustic folk punk is not dead es una compilación de diez canciones que incluye una grabación con la agradable voz de su esposa Cecile.
